Respectful Relationship Facilitation Tr

This course trains probation officer and correctional officer staff in the specific enhanced facilitation skills needed to deliver a BC Corrections Branch program to men who have committed a domestic offence. It augments the skills staff use in developing a positive rapport with offenders, eliciting offender engagement in programming and appropriately modelling and rewarding pro-social behaviours. Staff are also familiarized with recent research in the area of domestic-violent offending, as well as concepts and tools they will be delivering through the Respectful Relationships program.
