Scoring the STATIC-99R

This course is designed for probation officers working in B.C. It introduces probation officers to the STATIC-99R with adult male sexual offenders. STATIC-99R has been adopted by the B.C. Corrections Branch as an assessment tool for this population of offenders. The course provides key research supporting the application of this actuarial risk assessment tool and utilizes case studies to instruct students on the implementation of the ten risk factors identified in the research.
