About the Event
Join us for a special event focused on supporting individuals navigating recovery from both intimate partner violence (IPV) and substance use (SU). This course explores the complex ways these experiences intersect, and how service providers can respond with empathy, awareness, and practical skill. You’ll learn how to reduce stigma, foster open and supportive conversations, and apply trauma- and violence-informed approaches that prioritize safety, dignity, and empowerment.
Together, we’ll examine how stigma shows up within systems, services, and ourselves and what we can do to shift it. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with practical tools to strengthen your practice, support recovery in a more holistic way, and contribute to more connected, responsive services.
