Darryl Gray has more than 20 years of experience working with youth and adults in the Indigenous social work field. He is an Indigenous academic at the University of British Columbia completing his PhD in social work.

Previously, he was the co-coordinator of the Successful Aboriginal Graduate Enhancement program (SAGE) and a Director of Housing for the Nooksack Indian Tribe. Gray holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology and a Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia.
