Dr. Becky Donelon

Dr. Becky Donelon is a senior health educator with over 20 years of experience working as a paramedic in clinical practice, policy, regulation and paramedicine education and research. She joined JIBC in April 2023.

Her research focus includes paramedic practice education pedagogy, health equity, paramedic ways of knowing and relational learning spaces. She continues to teach paramedicine and works to improve paramedic education through participation in local and national projects and initiatives.

Dr. Donelon holds a Doctor of Education, Specialization in Educational Leadership, from the University of Calgary, a Masters of Distributed Learning and Leadership from Royal Roads University, and a combined certificate in Adult Learning, Organizational Behavior and Social Justice, also from the University of Calgary. She earned her Advanced Care Paramedic diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
