Mary Ellen Thorburn currently is interim Chief Financial Officer of Nexii Building Solutions and works as a finance consultant. Previously Ms. Thorburn was Vice President of Finance for Great Panther Silver Limited and Chief Financial Officer with Eco Oro Minerals Corporation. She has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of corporate governance, financial and regulatory reporting and capital market transactions.
Active in her community, Ms. Thorburn is a Board Member of the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute and a past member of the Property Assessment Review Panel. She is also a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia Mining Sector Forum and Financial Executives International Canada. Ms. Thorburn holds the designations of Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
