Terence Yung is an Inspector with the Vancouver Police Department leading diversity, community and Indigenous relations. He is also a contract Instructor for the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Mr. Yung is Past Chair of both S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and the Vancouver Classical Chinese Garden. He is a board member for Covenant House Vancouver. Previous community work included serving as President of the Vancouver Cambie Lions Club and as a director for Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver.
He is a recipient of the British Columbia Medal of Good Citizenship, the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers, and a Melvin Jones Fellowship. He holds a Master of Arts in leadership and training from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from the University of Southern California.
