JIBC Fleet Driver Training

Is this program right for you?

If you are an employer who wants to protect your drivers by giving them the skills to be safe on the road, then these courses are for you.

Hands-on Learning and Practice

Drivers learn and practice skills and strategies that can prevent crashes on the road.

Controlled Environment for Training

Drivers get supervised, hands-on driver training in a safe learning environment.

JIBC fleet driver training courses help employers provide valuable opportunities for their employees who drive for work to gain the skills to be safe, professional drivers on or off the road.

The program is designed to help employers meet their health and safety requirements and help reduce motor vehicle incidents, which are a leading cause of traumatic workplace deaths in B.C.

Program strengths

These courses reinforce and emphasize safe driving practices by providing an opportunity for drivers to experience hands-on training in both real-world and simulated environments. The program emphasizes the importance of having the correct attitude, vehicle control and interaction with other road users.

By incorporating strategies and training for road safety, organizations can create a culture of safety, reduce workplace injury and lower fleet maintenance costs.

Courses focus on applied learning and provide practical, hands-on experience taught by qualified and knowledgeable instructors.

Courses are organized on a contract basis for companies and organizations. They can be customized to meet client requirements.
