The Karen Baker-MacGrotty Award supports New Westminster Secondary School students and Royal Westminster Regiment members who are enrolled in a JIBC program.
Value
One award of $1,000 is available annually.
Eligibility Criteria
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status
- A recent graduate of New Westminster Secondary School (within three years of graduating from NWSS) and/or a Royal Westminster Regiment member entering a JIBC program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or B average.
- Enrolled in a JIBC certificate, diploma, or degree program of 10 credits or more.
- Involvement in school or community activities for consideration.
- An official transcript as proof of graduation from New Westminster Secondary School and/or a letter of recommendation/participation from the Royal Westminster Regiment.
