The Safetek Profire Bursary provides support for students in financial need in the Certificate in Fire Fighting Technologies (FFTC) full-time program at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Preference will be given to Indigenous learners.
Up to four awards of $1,000 each will be available annually for students enrolled in the FFTC fulltime program. A maximum of one award per class will be disbursed.
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have refugee status;
- Enrolled full-time in the Certificate in Fire Fighting Technologies (FFTC);
- Must demonstrate financial need not met by other available sources of funding including student loans, grants, sponsorship, work income, etc.;
- Preference will be given to Indigenous learners.
Annually there are two application deadlines:
- May 30
- September 30
