Course Details

This course offers students an in-depth examination of the theory and practice of Competitive Intelligence (CI), including its processes, organizational structures, and products. Through a combination of individual and group assignments and collaborative group discussions, students will explore questions such as: What is CI? How does CI differ from market research and other, more conventional, streams of management information? How can it help business leaders avoid strategic surprise? What added value does CI provide to decision-makers?

This course is only open to students who have been admitted to our graduate certificate programs.
