Course Details

The Confined Space Operations Level course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively rescue individuals from confined spaces. This course will cover a range of topics including hazard identification, risk assessment, communication, rescue equipment, and techniques. Participants will learn about the types of confined spaces, the hazards associated with them, and how to identify potential hazards. They will also learn how to conduct a risk assessment and implement control measures to ensure the safety of the rescuers and the victim. The course will include practical exercises that will allow participants to practice using rescue equipment and techniques in a confined space environment. Participants will also learn about rescue communication procedures and how to effectively coordinate a rescue operation. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to effectively respond to confined space rescue incidents and safely rescue victims from a variety of confined space environments. Participants will have a strong understanding of rescue procedures and be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect themselves and others during rescue operations.
