Course Details

This training is for correctional supervisors who will be reviewing and approving Notice of Alleged Breach reports. This course constitutes the first day of the Disciplinary Hearing Coordinator course which will provide an overview of the disciplinary process, legal framework, and an overview of the allegation reviewer process. The correctional supervisors play a key role in ensuring all documents are in order, that evidence is available and provides support and guidance to staff on how to accurately complete a Notice of Alleged Breach report. Once the supervisor completes their review of the documentation, they make recommendations to the person in charge when it is appropriate to order a disciplinary hearing.
