Please join us for the 2024 International Use of Force Conference - Virtual attendance.
Hear from the top legal and subject matter experts on the research, case law, police training, and trends in national and international police use of force issues. This conference will develop the knowledge, skills and report writing abilities essential to the professional development of use of force instructors, police union agents, police oversight bodies and legal counsel for the provision of expert opinions for internal police processes, civil and criminal trials, coroner's inquests, and other related criminal justice related processes. This conference is designed for professionals who have an interest in developing a deeper understanding of this subject matter area, or in building the foundational skills towards becoming a court-qualified use of force expert.
Learning use of force concepts for law enforcement is a multi-layered and complex undertaking. It is rare to have the opportunity to bring together so many Subject Matter Experts in one event. This conference provides a great opportunity to learn from the top experts in their respective fields on a topic that remains one of the most challenging issues facing law enforcement today.
If you have any questions regarding the conference or registration, please email: advancedpolicetraining@jibc.ca.
The virtual option will be streamed using the Zoom platform. Links and access passwords to join each day's session will be emailed to you before the start of the conference. Please note that you will be required to display your full name (as used to register for the conference) during each Zoom session.
The cost for this event is $299.00 plus GST.
