Course Details

Learners develop advanced knowledge and skills in pre-hospital medical and trauma management and patient care. This course engages learners with increasingly complex training as they add to their knowledge of anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, assessment, differential diagnosis, and clinical treatment guidelines. They learn to manage patients experiencing cardiac arrest, altered levels of consciousness, physical trauma, environmental exposure, and other common medical conditions. The course will cover preparation for patient transport and responding to multiple casualty incidents.
