About the Event
JIBC’s Office of Indigenization will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Aboriginal Gathering Place (AGP) on Tuesday, May 26, exactly 10 years after it opened in 2016.
The celebration is a drop in event, so feel free to drop by anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Room AD135.
The AGP is the heart of the Office of Indigenization’s efforts to support and encourage Indigenous students to join the public safety professions that JIBC trains for. It is an inclusive space on the New Westminster campus supporting Indigenous students through culturally relevant resources, connection with Elders, and spiritual connection.
