About the Event
Join us for a celebration of past and present faculty to (re)connect, reminisce, and reflect on what the Centre has contributed — and what it continues to mean. This is a moment to see old faces, hear familiar names, and take stock of a cumulative legacy.
Event Host: Kent Highnam, Dean of the School of Community and Social Justice
Before you arrive, we invite you to sit with one question:
How did your involvement in the Centre as a faculty member shape your personal and/or professional life. What do you “hang on to” from your time with JIBC?
You are welcome to share your reflection during the gathering, or simply let it inform the conversation. There are no right answers — only honest ones. If you'd like to share your story in writing ahead of time, you can do so at the community site.
Note: This gathering will be followed by a similar gathering of past and present students of the program. We encourage you to continue the conversations in the student celebration as well.
