On Monday, August 28, JIBC’s Kelowna campus at 825 Walrod Street will resume operations. Although the campus was not in a wildfire evacuation zone, we made the decision to close the campus out of an abundance of caution and concern for the wellbeing of our students and staff.

Our thoughts are with those who have been directly impacted by this summer’s wildfires, particularly JIBC students and staff. If you are a domestic JIBC student who has been impacted, you may be eligible for our Emergency Assistance Bursary, which provides up to $1000 in funding. You can find out more here.

As always, our thoughts are also with all the first responders helping keep communities like Kelowna safe. We offer our deep appreciation for their service.
