Course Details

This course focuses on the recognition of a hazardous materials emergency, personnel safety, hazard assessment, and the notification of the emergency response team using safe, practical, defensive actions - critical components when dealing with a hazardous situation. This course is designed to meet NFPA 1072 (Awareness Level) Professional Qualification accredited by International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board).
