Hazardous Materials Emergency Response - Awareness

This course focuses on the recognition of a hazardous materials emergency, personnel safety, hazard assessment, and the notification of the emergency response team using safe, practical, defensive actions - critical components when dealing with a hazardous situation.

This course is designed to meet NFPA 470-2022 - Competencies for Hazardous Materials / WMD Awareness Level Personnel - Chapters 4 and 5. Professional Qualification accredited by International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board).
