Course Details

This course focuses on managing an incident involving hazardous materials. Students will learn how to analyze and interpret information related to a hazardous materials incident, plan and implement a response while evaluating the progress of the response and finally bringing an incident to termination.

This course is designed to meet NFPA 470 - 2022 edition Chapters 6, 7, and 8 Operations Level Responders and Mission Specific Responders Professional Qualification accredited by International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board).
