Roll on - Roll off Vessel - Fire Emergencies

This course is intended to assist marine personnel who serve aboard Roll on- Roll Off (Ro-Ro) vessels (ferries) who have firefighting related duties. Participants will be equipped with the skills and up-to-date training required for dealing with a variety of fire emergencies on board ship. This course is a blend of classroom theory and practical live-fire training, with a focus on ship board environment. The emphasis will be on the types of fires, and associated hazards such as what would be found with a fire on the vehicle deck.
