Course Details

This course is intended to stimulate thought and examination regarding professional conduct and ethics, within the context of working as a family justice counsellor (FJC). The course will examine moral behavior with an exploration of personal and professional integrity and ethical standards for mediators. Students will work through ethical scenarios to apply their understanding of mediation ethics to different ethical dilemmas they may face as a family mediator. This course is intended for new family justice counsellors who are looking to increase their knowledge of an ethical mediation practice and appropriate professional, including government, conduct.
