Course Details

Learners will explore the principles and concepts of strategic planning in the fire service. They will assess the contexts in which strategic planning is conducted, analyze the elements of a strategic plan, and examine strategic planning processes and the relationships between strategic and operational planning. Learners will create and evaluate a strategic plan for an initiative they are working on by applying the related concepts and theories. (Formerly FSS235;FSS335)
